Mercedez Mendoza received her Bachelor of Arts degree in both Communication Disorders and Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2018. She then received her Masters degree in Deaf Education and Hearing Science from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2021. During this time she worked as an associate teacher in Kindergarten at Sunshine Cottage.

Hello, my name is Ethan Casarez! I am a third year Teacher Assistant at Sunshine Cottage. I have an associates in Fine Arts - Education from San Antonio College. I also went to university in the United Kingdom for education. Fun fact, I also attended Sunshine Cottage when I was much younger. I am a unilateral Cochlear Implant recipient. I am very excited for the upcoming school year!
