Speech Language Pathology Position Available!
Positions: Speech-Language Pathologist, Spanish/English Bilingual required (Preschool-4th)

Description: Full-time positions available on a year-round school calendar, competitive salary, excellent benefits, supportive environment, Equal Opportunity Employer These positions require knowledge and expertise in the areas of hearing impairment (amplification systems, cochlear implants, listening/language/speech development), educational approaches, coaching and counseling, child development and public relations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
Interest in gaining specialized training in working with children with hearing loss in an auditory oral setting
Willingness to work in a collaborative environment
Take pleasure in working with early childhood and school-aged children
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Independently administer and score assessments, write thorough evaluation and progress reports, as well as, plan, conduct, and document therapy sessions
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide assessment and diagnosis of speech and language levels
Provide individual and/or group therapy
Serve as a resource to and collaborate with teachers and other school staff members
Provide information, support, and counseling to parents and families
Participate in staffing meetings and Admission Review and Dismissal (ARD)/Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) meetings
Maintain thorough ongoing records for students
Be willing to travel for consults, conferences, and presentations
Education and/or Experience: Candidate must either have a Master’s Degree OR be a LSLS Cert. AVT or Cert. AV Ed. Speech and Language Pathologist.
Special Knowledge/Skills: Candidate must have training or experience with Listening and Spoken Language practices.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations: Maintain state and ASHA licensure requirements, Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (LSLS Cert. AVT or AV Ed.) certification is preferred. If not currently certified, certification must be obtained within 5 years of hire date.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear and have good vision. The employee must regularly lift and/or move 0-30 lbs
